Hempel stand in Hall 2 was a showcase of Hempel’s best sustainable antifouling solutions. Hempaguard X7 as a premium Superyachts antifouling protection, recently rewarded with Water Revolution Foundation sustainable solution certificate, as the only antifouling verified and included into WRF database and into the Metstrade Superyacht route. Hempel’s experience of going through WRF verification process was co-presented on Thursday 17th November at 12.30 at the Mets Theatre by Hempel’s sustainability manager Pau Hauget and WRF.
Hempel’s Silic One a premium biocide free fouling release coating for DIY market, was definitely the main topic at Hempel stand, as the first revolutionary biocide-free technology based on silicone and hydrogel with a decade of proven track record, recognized as "best in test" in numerous independent boating magazines and satisfied boat owners.
Besides the high interest for the premium and well-known Silic One, a hard thin-film antifouling Hempaspeed TF was also showcased within Hempel’s biocide- free range.
